I received a letter from Hales Corners Municipal Court today about an unpaid ticket Operating after suspended registration in 2008. 9 years ago. I don't recall ever getting this ticket nor have I ever gotten a letter about this ticket until today. I immediately called Hales Corners Municipal Courts and was told that they sent out a letter in 2008 and that they suspended my drivers license. I know that my drivers license wasn't suspended. That would have gotten my attention sooner than now, much later. I asked if they could mail me a copy of the ticket. They said they could not because it has my social security number on it, that I need to send a written request for such ticket. They said how do they know its me. Who else is going to call about a 9 year old traffic ticket that hasn't existed since today.
